Reiki is a form of energy work and healing that originated in Japan centuries ago. Reiki loosely translates to “divine/life force energy” and trained reiki healers use this energy to balance the flow of healthy energy within another person or themselves. Clients will be fully clothed on a massage table while the practitioner uses gentle hand movements either nearby or directly on the client’s body. Essential oils, crystals, sound, and other tools are used at times to assist with the energy work. Reiki is especially effective at balancing chakras, overcoming trauma, mental health challenges, improving sleep and increasing feelings of peace.

A treatment created by Lane Valentine, LMT, this is a combination of table massage, reiki, and aromatherapy during one session to treat the whole person at a time. This treatment is especially important for those of us who have physical pain and tension from stress outside of physical trauma, such as from work, home, or the tolls of daily life and worry. Body and Soul Treatment is also recommended for those who haven’t received treatment in a while, or who have recently or are currently going through challenging or overwhelming circumstances.
